Tell Gov. Snyder to keep radioactive waste out of Michigan's landfills.
Plenty of things belong in landfills.
Radioactive waste is not one of them.
Yet state officials have agreed to accept 36 tons of radioactive waste into Michigan landfills – waste that’s been rejected from two other states as being too dangerous to house.
Why is it okay for Michiganders to be exposed to levels of radioactivity that’s too unsafe for other Americans?
Governor Snyder, it’s time to be a leader and say Michiganders deserve better than other states’ dangerous trash.
Reject the radioactive waste.
